Fiddle & Shine DIY Kokedama Planter - Bluffton

Kokedama Workshop
Discover the art of Kokedama, a traditional Japanese planting technique that transforms ordinary
houseplants into beautiful, living sculptures. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to
create their own moss ball planter by carefully wrapping a plant’s roots in soil, forming it into a sphere,
and encasing it in soft, living moss.
This project is beginner-friendly, fun, and a little bit messy in the best way! Each participant will leave
with a unique, handcrafted Kokedama and a care card with instructions on how to display and maintain
their new plant at home—whether hanging from twine or perched elegantly on a decorative dish.
Perfect for anyone who enjoys plants, creativity, and trying something new.
